I start with a specific person, task and decision. When practical, I test the matching workflow myself. When an article relies on public evidence, I label it clearly and check product facts against first-party documentation.
A useful guide should explain who the product is for, what it does well, where it creates friction and who should skip it. A longer feature list is not a substitute for a clearer decision.

A commission never buys a ranking, a positive verdict or removal of a material limitation. I can recommend a product without a commercial relationship when it is the better fit.
